The HOWO 371 6x4 tractor head, called a prime mover or truck head in East Africa, pulls container, flatbed, lowbed and tanker trailers. It pairs the SINOTRUK WD615.47 371 hp diesel with the HW19710 10-speed gearbox and HC16 double-reduction rear axles: a mechanical drivetrain without complex electronics.
We supply it brand new, or refurbished at our factory in Jiaxiang, Jining. Choose left-hand drive for countries such as Nigeria and Ghana, or right-hand drive for Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.

Condition and warranty
- Brand new: built to your configuration, all parts new
- High-standard refurbished: engine, gearbox and axles dismantled and overhauled, chassis sandblasted and repainted
- Standard refurbished: engine, gearbox and rear axle checked but not dismantled, wear parts replaced, full repaint
On new and refurbished trucks, the engine, gearbox and rear axle carry a 12-month warranty; wear parts are not covered. Your quotation states the condition, the work done and the parts replaced.
Before the balance payment, ask for dated photos and a video call of the actual truck: chassis, cab, engine bay, gearbox, axles, tyres and odometer. Independent inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or another inspector is welcome.
Export documents and shipping
We supply the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and Certificate of Origin. Destination inspection and conformity documents depend on your country: check steering side, emission standard, vehicle age limits, duties and registration rules with a licensed clearing agent before ordering.
Delivery to a Chinese port takes 30 to 45 working days after the deposit. Trucks normally ship by RoRo, or by flat-rack where RoRo is not available. Prices are EXW Jining; sea freight is quoted separately when the truck is ready to ship.

What is the difference between the HOWO 371 and the HOWO NX 371?
On our spec sheets both use the WD615.47 371 hp engine and HW19710 gearbox. The NX adds the newer NX cab with heating and air conditioning, an air-suspended driver seat, MCX16ZG rear axles and a 600 L fuel tank. The HOWO 371 costs less.
Can I see the exact truck before I pay the balance?
Yes. You receive photos and video of the exact chassis before loading, can join a live video call from our factory, or visit us in Jiaxiang, Jining. Independent inspection by SGS or Bureau Veritas is welcome.
Can I get the exact truck specification before payment?
Yes. Ask for the chassis model, engine, gearbox, axles, wheelbase, tyres, body or equipment, condition, price, Incoterm, and delivery schedule in the quotation and proforma invoice. Do not rely only on a general catalogue description.
Can an independent company inspect the truck?
Yes. Independent pre-shipment inspection is welcome. The inspection scope should compare the actual truck with the signed specification and record identification plates, condition, operation, dimensions, and visible defects.
Is the displayed specification guaranteed for every unit?
