HOWO NX CNG 6x4 Tractor Head

Compressed natural gas · 430 hp class · 6x4 prime mover

Updated

A CNG tractor head runs on compressed natural gas instead of diesel. It suits operators who have reliable CNG filling stations along their routes and want to compare fuel costs against diesel.

Common export builds of the HOWO NX CNG use SINOTRUK's MT13 natural-gas engine at about 430 hp, the HW19710 gearbox and a rack of gas cylinders behind the cab. We size the cylinder set to your daily distance and confirm the full specification on the quotation.

What the HOWO NX CNG 6x4 Tractor Head is used for

  • Container and freight haulage on routes with CNG filling stations
  • Fleets testing gas trucks alongside diesel
  • Short and medium-distance port and industrial shuttles

Before ordering, check trailer weight, road gradients, cruising speed, fuel quality, steering position, emission rules, and local parts support. We confirm the exact configuration in the written quotation and proforma invoice before you pay a deposit.

Condition and warranty

  • Brand new: factory order, specification confirmed on the quotation

On new and refurbished trucks, the engine, gearbox and rear axle carry a 12-month warranty; wear parts are not covered. Your quotation states the condition, the work done and the parts replaced.

Before the balance payment, ask for dated photos and a video call of the actual truck: chassis, cab, engine bay, gearbox, axles, tyres and odometer. Independent inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or another inspector is welcome.

Export documents and shipping

We supply the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and Certificate of Origin. Destination inspection and conformity documents depend on your country: check steering side, emission standard, vehicle age limits, duties and registration rules with a licensed clearing agent before ordering.

Delivery to a Chinese port takes 30 to 45 working days after the deposit. Trucks normally ship by RoRo, or by flat-rack where RoRo is not available. Prices are EXW Jining; sea freight is quoted separately when the truck is ready to ship.

Frequently asked questions

Is a CNG tractor head cheaper to run than diesel?

It depends on the local price of gas against diesel and on how far you drive between filling stations. We do not promise a saving; compare your own fuel prices and route before choosing gas.

How far can a HOWO CNG truck drive on one fill?

Range depends on the cylinder volume, load, road and driving. Tell us your daily distance and we propose a cylinder set for it.

Do gas cylinders need special documents?

Yes, gas cylinders usually need certificates and periodic inspection. Check the rules in your country with your clearing agent and gas supplier before shipping.

Can I get the exact truck specification before payment?

Yes. Ask for the chassis model, engine, gearbox, axles, wheelbase, tyres, body or equipment, condition, price, Incoterm, and delivery schedule in the quotation and proforma invoice. Do not rely only on a general catalogue description.

Can an independent company inspect the truck?

Yes. Independent pre-shipment inspection is welcome. The inspection scope should compare the actual truck with the signed specification and record identification plates, condition, operation, dimensions, and visible defects.

Is the displayed specification guaranteed for every unit?

No. It describes common configurations. Stock and factory-order specifications can vary. Only the final written sales documents and inspection record define the truck being supplied.
