A HOWO 6x4 crane truck, also called a boom truck or truck-mounted crane, carries its own load and lifts it on and off without a separate crane. It suits building suppliers, contractors and equipment dealers.
Common export builds mount an 8 t or 12 t class telescopic crane behind the cab of a SINOTRUK WD615 chassis, with a cargo deck behind it. The crane brand, boom length and load chart are confirmed on the quotation.

Choosing this configuration
Choose the crane by the weight you lift at the distance you need, not by its headline tonnage. Send the heaviest item and how far from the truck it must be placed, and we check it against the crane's load chart.

What the HOWO 6x4 Crane Truck (Boom Truck) is used for
- Building materials: blocks, steel, pipes and precast
- Machinery and container handling at yards
- Utility and infrastructure work
- Self-loading delivery to sites without a crane
Before ordering, check working load, reach or drum volume, hydraulic demand, stability, chassis reinforcement, route limits, and operator training. We confirm the exact configuration in the written quotation and proforma invoice before you pay a deposit.
Condition and warranty
- Brand new: factory order
On new and refurbished trucks, the engine, gearbox and rear axle carry a 12-month warranty; wear parts are not covered. Your quotation states the condition, the work done and the parts replaced.
Before the balance payment, ask for dated photos and a video call of the actual truck: chassis, cab, engine bay, gearbox, axles, tyres and odometer. Independent inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or another inspector is welcome.
Export documents and shipping
We supply the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and Certificate of Origin. Destination inspection and conformity documents depend on your country: check steering side, emission standard, vehicle age limits, duties and registration rules with a licensed clearing agent before ordering.
Delivery to a Chinese port takes 30 to 45 working days after the deposit. Trucks normally ship by RoRo, or by flat-rack where RoRo is not available. Prices are EXW Jining; sea freight is quoted separately when the truck is ready to ship.

Frequently asked questions
Can a 12 t crane truck lift 12 t at full reach?
No. A 12 t rating applies only at the shortest working radius. At longer reach the safe load drops sharply; ask for the load chart of the crane on your quotation.
How much is a HOWO crane truck?
Price on request. Send the crane size, the heaviest lift and reach, drive side and destination port, and we reply with an EXW Jining quotation.
Can I get the exact truck specification before payment?
Yes. Ask for the chassis model, engine, gearbox, axles, wheelbase, tyres, body or equipment, condition, price, Incoterm, and delivery schedule in the quotation and proforma invoice. Do not rely only on a general catalogue description.
Can an independent company inspect the truck?
Yes. Independent pre-shipment inspection is welcome. The inspection scope should compare the actual truck with the signed specification and record identification plates, condition, operation, dimensions, and visible defects.
Is the displayed specification guaranteed for every unit?
No. It describes common configurations. Stock and factory-order specifications can vary. Only the final written sales documents and inspection record define the truck being supplied.
